DECEMBER 2020 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

Hi Players, Just wanted to give you a heads-up for the next scheduled December 2020 TOC. The TOC is normally held the first Saturday of the month, UNLESS it falls on a holiday weekend. With that being said, many people will be traveling home for the holidays on Saturday, January 2nd so we are going to host the TOC on Saturday, January 9th at 7 pm. Eligible players are listed below.
Remember, if you changed your name after winning a tourney, you will need to change it back before the TOC to be eligible to play.
The format for this tourney is a 10 tix double elimination tourney.

Moderator Pearle, the time stated for the TOC is 7pm is that USA Time, if so what will it be in the Uk.
Eastern Time USA vs UK time (GMT)

There's a 5 hour difference between the Eastern Time in the USA as compared to UK time (GMT).
So the tournament scheduled at 7PM Eastern Time will start at 12AM (midnight) GMT

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
