Bad Mouthers

Why is it that people who are suppose to be adults act like 10 year old childern. If they don't like the way you play or play fast enough then they have to bad mouth you. I really feel sorry for people who are so in-secure. I thought this was to be a enjoyable atmosphere but it is really getting out of hand with immaturity.

Yes! We have all met with a few bad mouthers or two and it doesn't seem to matter which room you play in. My motto regardless of the game is to be pleasant and if your opponent is indeed rude..then place them on a list handy to your desk and don't play them again. Btw I enjoyed the games we played the other day!

I agree w/ you totally. I've played plenty of children, it makes for a bad game. I too, make a list, maybe these mouthers could or should play each other?

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
