ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE $1TIX USITA QUALIFIERS; HOWEVER, MEMBERS OF USITAGAMES.COM QUALIFY TO COMPETE FOR 100 FREE EXTRA TICKETS.
IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER TO BECOME A USITA MEMBER ... BUT ONCE AGAIN, ALL PLAYERS OF GAME COLONY ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE TOURNEYS. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

We want all GC players to have an opportunity to compete with some of the best players in the world. Come play with us and when you say "I am the best", it can be documented.

Do you want to become a member of USITA but do not want to use your credit card? Ask Game Colony to pay your membership from your GC account. They will be happy to do so by transferring 35 tickets from your account to USITA.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
