Denver, the mathematical probability of getting a 29 hand in two-player cribbage has long been known to be 1 in 216,580.
Just think , only 216,000 hands to go until you get your 2nd 29 hand!

30 + years of playing and im still searching for my 1st argggg lol countless number of 28s but no 29 hand yet sighh lmao...Enough bout me lol wtg @ congrats denver...

I know just how you feel as I dealt myself a 29 hand a year ago. It was the last hand of the game and my opponent counted out to win before I could count my wonderful surprise hand. I did get a witness to sign the cut 5 of diamonds as well as my opponent and the hand is now preserved in a shadow box which gets lots of attention from friends and kin. Very exciting! weeadelaide

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
