I don't know if it was just the holidays that did it but December was a fantastic month for Canasta in the number of tourneys and the great competition in ladder. Any of up to 10 people had a chance at the top spots on the last day and the tourney results helped decide it. Hope everyone enjoyed the battles.

Only drawback was missing the great participation for the Australian players of which we had so many. I will try to keep some 9am tourneys for u when I am available. Hope they all come back. GL

I just want to say THANK YOU to ALL THE TDs who made it possible for the canasta players to participate in so many tournaments during December. This player, as well as many other players, REALLY APPRECIATES your efforts.
Thank you.

Hi 9am is not really a good time for us aussie players as it is 2am in the morning here. I don't think you will get many aussie players at that time. Thanks for thinking of us though

Is 3pm GC time good?

We had many and would like to see some canasta tourneys for Australians as well. Is 3pm good for you?

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
